If you enter the PIN for your Olipay MasterCard incorrectly five consecutive times, your card will be temporarily blocked to ensure the security of your card.
Why have I been charged more than expected?
Sometimes, transactions may appear different from what you initially expected because the final debited amount may differ from the original transaction amount due to the following reasons:
(1)advertisers may preauthorize a higher deposit amount (for example, at gas stations, car rentals, or hotel reservations), and once the deposit is no longer needed, the difference is credited back to your account.
(2)Currency exchange rate fluctuations may result in slight differences in the total for foreign currency transactions.
(3)We recommend selecting the local currency when using your Olipay MasterCard for shopping or cash withdrawals to get the best exchange rate (if not, additional fees may apply).
(4)For payments outside the EEA, we charge an additional 3% fee.
If my MasterCard is lost or stolen, what should I do?
If your MasterCard is lost or you suspect it may have been stolen, you can lock and unlock your card at any time within the Olipay app. Locking your card and ordering a new one through the Olipay app gives you full control over your card and helps protect you from unauthorized transactions. If you notice anything suspicious, you should block your card immediately, and you can also unblock it at any time later.
